The Inspiration Behind "Singing Shores"
I did my professional training to become a photographer in Montana, USA, at the renowned Rocky Mountain School of Photography. It was a life changing experience, and I loved every minute of it. Flathead Lake, one of the largest natural freshwater lakes in the western United States, is renowned for its pristine waters and stunning landscapes. The area became one of my favourite stomping grounds for creating abstracts. It was during a serene morning at dawn (I am an early riser :-)) that the inspiration for "Singing Shores" struck me. The emerging light cast a delicate glow over the water, transforming the lake into a mesmerising canvas of shadows and reflections. The gentle lapping of the waves against the shore seemed to create a melody, a song of nature that resonated deeply within me.
The interplay of light and shadow at dawn, combined with the tranquil ambience of Flathead Lake, provided the perfect setting for capturing this abstract photograph. By focusing on the subtle details and textures, I aimed to create an image that transcends the literal and evokes a sense of peace and contemplation.
