Using the Giclée printing technology with archival (fade-resistant) inks results in museum quality wall art ensuring breathtaking depth, vibrancy, and archival longevity (100+ years).


They are HAND-FRAMED in a premium solid wooden float frame made from renewable sources (USA: maple; Rest of the world: oak); 4cm deep. Each print comes ready to hang with pre-installed sawtooth hardware and rubber bumpers to protect your wall and keep your artwork perfectly aligned.

Each print is custom-made upon order, exclusively for you. As production and shipping are handled by trusted partners around the world, timelines may vary slightly depending on your location. To honour the care and craftsmanship involved, please allow 10 days before your print leaves the printer.

Refund & Returns

The ordered print is custom made for you. I do not offer returns and refunds.

However, if you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact me and I will gladly work out a solution.


Return and refund process: To start a return, please email me at petsy@sommardale-art.com within 3 days of delivery, stating the issue. If your return is accepted, I will send instructions on how and where to send your package. The damaged or defective item must be returned to me. To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging, opened in a pet & smoke-free home. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Once a return is received and found eligible, your refund will be issued.

Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

ANNIKA'S BUYING JOURNEY


Winter holds the forest in a hush. Beneath the still canopy, water lies frozen, clear, yet heavy with memory. It cradles the past in silence, as if honoring the beauty of what was. There is no sorrow here, only patience.

These lines accompanied my framed canvas print FROZEN INK . It made me exhale instantly. I was looking for artwork to mark a personal milestone, something confident but quiet, one of a kind. I found it in FROZEN INK. It now hangs in my living room, where it completely changed the atmosphere of the room and how I feel in it. It’s even more powerful in real life.     As much as I love the ocean, I am at home in the woods. I admire the strength and resilience of trees. With roots firmly anchored in the earth, trees stand tall and unwavering against the forces of nature. Their sturdy trunks and branches provide shelter and support for countless forms of life, from birds and insects to mammals and fungi. The air is alive. Melodious birdsong, the gentle hum of insects, and a chorus of buzzing bees and chirping crickets fills the air. Rustling leaves whisper secrets of mammals scurrying through the underbrush. Amidst it all, the soft gurgle of streams and brooks provides a soothing backdrop. Every sound tells a story, creating a harmonious chorus that echoes through the trees and fills the air with the magic of the wilderness.

  • MAGNOLIA

    I created this particular collection in memory of my late grandfather Sebastian. This magnificent magnolia tree is over 60 years old and stands in his beloved garden, where easterly winds are whipping through the trees, and the magnolia tree engages in an enchanting dance each Spring.

    The branches of the magnolia tree are sturdy yet graceful, reaching out in a picturesque display. The allure of the magnolia tree lies in its timeless elegance and captivating beauty. With its broad, glossy leaves and magnificent, fragrant blossoms, the magnolia tree stands as a symbol of grace and strength. Each spring, it bursts into a spectacular display of large, creamy white or pink flowers that fill the air with a sweet, heady aroma, creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere.
